Tender Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on technical and commercial offers (within the tender process), with a great understanding of tender requirements, the technical solution to be delivered, the terms and conditions to be followed, the target price to be reached, and other tender-related tasks. The aim is to build competitive tenders aligned with the winning strategy and with the RSCs on the most competitive delivery strategy.
  • Work on tenders of medium and higher price range, according to the defined DoA (Delegation of Authority);
  • Direct communications with all stakeholders (internal teams such as Solution Engineering team, Solution, Legal, Customer Project & Services Department and external members as Regional Solution Centers, Front Offices and Digital Grid Sales Forces) involved in the tendering process to define the best solution to fit tender & Customer requirements, while following SE NS Hub goals and processes.
  • Work within SE CPP sales process and other SE NS Hub sales & bidding processes.
  • Can be involved in specific RFI and budgetary offer preparation.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Education in Electrical Engineering, preferably Power Systems.
  • Experience in tendering preferred.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, strong team dedication is required.
  • Proficiency in oral and written English (other languages such as Spanish, German or French would be treated as an advantage).
  • Very good communication and influencing skills.
  • High-level creative thinking and the confidence to use it.
  • Teamwork, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Motivation and a desire to execute every job to the highest standard.
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
