An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Tendering Engineer (Greenfield) where you will be responsible for the overall bid submission, technical and commercial, towards our clients as well as support the development of opportunities and manage the tender responses with our internal and external stakeholders. This role is based in Stockholm Sweden.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:
  • Manages and leads an opportunity and is responsible for the overall bid submission (technical & commercial)
  • Supports the development of assigned opportunities and manages the tender responses as required following the Tender Process
  • Collaborates closely with the Sales Lead/Business Development Manager in the early engagement process.
  • Drives the development of the win strategy and value proposition in a competitive environment.
  • Prepares the technical and commercial content e.g., BOM, engineering and services estimates, technical & commercial clarifications and smart deviations.
  • Manages the proposal schedule for the opportunity and allocation of responsibilities to the bid team, in line with Tender governance procedures (CPP), ensuring the bid team are on target throughout.
  • Manages the Risk Management Process and supports the Commercial Review Process (Contracts & Approvals) to prepare and submit the tender, including soliciting input from contracts and legal teams.
  • Facilitates technical reviews in accordance with customer expectations of solution offering.
  • Ensures timely submission of tender to customer office/portal.

Key Qualifications:
  • Degree or higher education qualifications in an engineering / business subject.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Tendering role within engineering.
  • Broad knowledge of the automation products & solutions portfolio
  • Experience working with industry market dynamics, competitive challenges.
  • Experience working with commercial contracts.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills.
  • Microsoft Office skills - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio

In addition, you have the ability to identify, analyze and propose constructive solutions. You have strong organizational and planning skills and are able to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines.
