Schneider Electric is looking for an experienced driver to relocate a non-CDL demonstration box truck from city to city throughout the contiguous 48 states of the USA.
This is an hourly, temporary/ part-time position.
What will you do?
- Transport and deliver the truck in a safe and timely manner
- Maintain company provided DOT logbook as needed
- Communicate with Schneider representatives
- Ensure routine vehicle maintenance and inspections are completed (SE Fleet fuel/maintenance card provided)
- Ensure the vehicle is clean and presentation ready
Schedule:
• Dependent on schedule of the vehicle.
• Blackout (no work) days will be managed on a rolling 12-week calendar

• Weekend and holidays may be needed to accommodate the schedule
Job Type:
- Temporary (November 2024 - January 2025) extensions as needed
Compensation:
- $50/hour
- Minimum trip hours: 9
- Normal clock time is 8AM-5PM
- After hours paid for actual travel time (home to/from truck/hotel)
- Normal and reasonable travel expenses paid (mileage, airline, parking, tolls, meals, hotel, ground transportation)
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Valid driver's license in the state the driver resides
- Box truck driving experience
- Knowledge of DOT compliance for the vehicle class
- 21+ years of age
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR
- Able to safely walk, bend, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel daily
- Employment contingent on completion and passing of drug screen
