Technical Scrum Master

We are seeking a senior and experienced professional to join our global team as a Technical Scrum Master. She/He will be responsible to coach and guide the software teams towards the effective execution of our deliveries in Global API platform group.

Scrum Master is a key position that ensures we are working as per the Scaled Agile Framework® methodology in a highly technical environment. You will guide and engage the team members to work in an agile manner with emphasis on Inspect and Adapt approach.

What you will do:

  • Partner with Product Owners to ensure alignment of strategy to backlogs and execution for API platform management.
  • Coordinate in eliciting technical requirements from stakeholders for API platform for and required functionality or maintenance updates.
  • Plan and execute using Scaled Agile Framework methodology with Program Increments in place
  • Manage inter-dependencies between agile teams, identify risks, escalate and help find resolutions
  • Drive continuous improvement by coaching team members to maximize efficiency and self-improvement.
  • Possess supervision skills to work in a global organization across time-zones, and with teams that are internal as well as with external contractor groups
  • Remove impediments towards successful execution of sprints
  • Coach the team on agile values, culture and methodologies
  • Master agile processes and fine tune them to the team needs while providing tools, methodologies and relevant KPIs/dashboards to accelerate team delivery
  • Maintain visual KPIs dashboards to monitor and track iterations with focus on bringing efficiency and improvement

Experience
  • Experience with software projects in an agile environment, with solid understanding of agile and SAFe®
  • Previous experience in Software Engineering roles, specifically with API's (i.e. REST, SOAP)
  • Hands on technical experience with API development and/or management.
  • 7+ years of work experience in software product development as a scrum master, project/program manager or business analyst
  • SAFe® certification preferred
  • Advanced skills with JIRA and confluence
  • Knowledge of APIs is a must!
  • Proficient with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc.
  • Proficient communication and leadership skills
  • Strong facilitation techniques
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
