Your Mission:
Are you interested in contributing to the development and growth of Schneider Electric's Process Automation business area? We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Consultant to work with SADC countries. As our new Technical Sales Consultant, y ou will leverage your pre-sale expertise and combine your technical expertise with a sales-oriented approach. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Business Developers and Account Manager as the technical expert.
Your Role - Magic happens when you bring great people together!
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify and qualify opportunities in process automation.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to clients.
• Develop proposals and respond to RFPs focusing on technical accuracy and business value.
• Conduct product training sessions for clients and internal teams.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, product developments, and competitive landscape.
• Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market needs.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials and case studies.
• Work collaboratively with salespeople to cultivate customer relationships.
• Analyse, design, and present technical solutions for process automation.
• Take responsibility for developing solutions and architectures.
• Manage the technical interface between the sales, tender team and the delivery organization.
• Demonstrate commercial awareness by developing and assisting with sales strategies, pricing, and market analysis.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in technical sales, focusing on process automation solutions.
- Strong understanding of automation technologies and their applications in various industries.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong business acumen strategically focusing on the customer and their benefits.
- Your passion for your field is evident, and you are comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- A strong technical background, preferably in engineering, and a passion for translating complex concepts into clear solutions.
