JOB DESCRIPTION :

Objective

Senior Electrical Engineer with experience in Control & Relay Protection engineering holding an Engineering Bachelor's degree from a recognized and reputed institution.

Experience - minimum 10 years in Electrical / Power System engineering overview & background in Substation HV, MV & LV application and protection knowledge including Control and Relay Panel engineering.

Engineer having related working experience in Engineering Consulting company/EPC or other reputed companies in Energy Automation or Power system field.

Experiences and Job Responsibilities

- Effective team player and coordinate with Design Leader and Draftsman to handle multiple projects on the technical front

- Technical responsibility for the complete subset of Project Technical delivery

- Understanding the customer requirements (specifications, drawings, contractual obligations), working with Schneider and non-Schneider suppliers and subcontractors

- Technical support during offer stage - BOM, technical deviation preparation and engineering m/d estimation

- Perform Basic design like Cubicle General Arrangement, BOM, Protection SLD and Control and Logic diagram

- Preparation of engineering documents such as Protection Conceptual Design, Functional Specifications, and application notes

- Detailed engineering and manufacturing documents preparation in coordination with Design Leaders and Drafting team

- Effective stakeholder management both internal and external - Engineering team, PM, Procurement, Panel vendor, Front Office, and End customer

- Knowledge of various protection applications including OC/EF, differential, distance, generator & motor is must

- Autocad, Elecdes, E-base, E-Plan and other engineering tool experience is preferable

- Panel hardware engineering experience is must to design Panel construction and General Arrangement drawing

- Panel construction design shall be done in compliance with Global customer specification in coordination with Panel vendor and Sourcing

- Ensure regular knowledge sharing and trainings to the Design Leaders and Drafting team

- Familiarity and Work experience with all ranges of Schneider numerical relay is must

- ABB, Siemens, GE, SEL & others makes relays knowledge and work experience will be an added advantage

- Familiar with IEC & ANSI standard Knowledge

- Good in English communications both verbal and written is must

- Basic understanding of SCADA and Communication protocols including IEC61850, Modbus, etc

- Relay setting & logic file preparation including CID/ICD file is add an advantage

- Global customer projects design experience will be an added advantage

- Ready for travel and overseas deputations for engineering activities & FAT

- CT, VT calculation and Protection Relays setting calculation experience is added advantage

- To coordinate with Internal or end customer for technical coordination, design & document approval

- Drive Panel engineering Quality, efficiency, and team productivity

- Improving the level of customer satisfaction

- Effective communication and coordinate with all internal & external stake holders during project execution

- Familiar and working experience in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)

Responsibilities in terms of quality and safety/security :

Ø Implementation of international ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 18000 HSE and ISO14000 environmental standards

Ø Fully respect to Safety standards during all project execution
