As a Technical Leader at Schneider Electric, you will spearhead the technical aspects of customer-integrated projects, ensuring adherence to technical requirements from initial customer meetings through the tendering process and into the execution phase. Your role will be pivotal in risk management, change management, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

This role can be based in one of our Swedish offices.

Scope and Environment:

Join our customer project execution/application center, collaborating with technical teams, tender managers, and sales teams across multiple sites and countries. You will lead the technical scope of automation, monitoring, and control solutions for our department, acting as an ambassador towards our customers and sales team, while closely working with the delivery team to maximize benefits for all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support sales in technical discussions with customers to identify needs and convert them into reliable, cost-effective solutions from our portfolio.
  • Present technical solutions that meet customer requirements in response to RFQs and collaborate with tender managers during tendering.
  • Deliver technical solutions aligned with project specifications.
  • Drive the technical scope and philosophy towards sales, clients, and sub-suppliers.
  • Coordinate with other business units and specialist teams internally.
  • Provide detailed technical clarifications to clients and sub-suppliers.
  • Review and approve technical specifications and documentation.
  • Advise and support Project Managers and Automation Engineers with technical solutions on client change requests.
  • Undertake any other tasks as required by the role.

Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of medium and low voltage switchgear solutions, monitoring and control systems, and basic knowledge of power distribution communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with protection devices, IEDs, LV CB protection devices, arc guards, residual current monitoring, and interlocking functions.
  • Knowledge of automation platforms, including hardware and software implementations.
  • Understanding of Ethernet networks, cyber security, and high availability systems.
  • Knowledge of power distribution automation solutions such as load shedding, automatic transfer switching, and tap-changer automation.
  • Experience with SCADA solutions that scale based on customer needs.
  • A technical degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Passionate about building networks and tailoring offers to meet customer requirements.
  • Effective communication skills in the local language and English, with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
