Schneider Electric is looking for a Technical Experts for Battery Management Systems (BMS) & Battery Packs for its Energy Storage Center of Excellence (CoE). SE's Energy Storage CoE enables company's growth through the development of innovative energy storage products that are battery technology-agnostic, scalable, cost-effective, and manufacturable.

We are looking for an experienced Technical Expert with expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), Energy Storage Systems (ESS), and Power Electronics. This role will focus on electrical system design, circuit development, power management, and safety compliance for energy storage solutions. The ideal candidate will lead the electrical engineering aspects of BMS and ESS projects, ensuring high-performance, efficient, and reliable energy solutions.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop electrical architectures for Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
• Develop and optimize power electronics circuits, including DC/DC converters, inverters, and power distribution systems.

• Design and analyze analog and digital electronics for energy storage applications.

• Analyze and improve electrical efficiency, safety, and thermal management of energy storage solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (UL 1973, IEC 62619, IEEE 1547, ISO 26262, etc.).
• Perform circuit simulations, PCB design, and system-level testing to validate electrical performance.
• Lead fault analysis and troubleshooting of electrical issues in BMS and ESS.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and systems engineers to integrate electrical components into complete energy storage solutions.
• Mentor and guide junior electrical engineers, providing technical leadership in BMS and ESS development.
• Stay updated on industry advancements in battery technologies, energy storage, and power electronics.

Key Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 10+ years in electrical design for energy storage, BMS, or power electronics.

Technical Expertise in:
• High- and low-voltage electrical systems for battery storage.
• Power electronics design (DC/DC converters, inverters, charging circuits).
• Embedded electronics for BMS (sensors, communication protocols, control circuits).
• PCB design and layout for high-power applications.
• Electrical safety, thermal management, and fault detection techniques.
• Simulation tools (LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, Altium, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of electrical standards and compliance for battery storage and power electronics.
• Proven track record of electrical innovation and system optimization.
• Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
