Team Mission

All IT needs of SE are managed by the Schneider Digital Global Function. Spread across 60 countries with over 4000 employees, this function develops & works with major IT & Software providers to manage software which drive our P&L and enable our businesses.

The HR Systems & Employee Experience - Product & Engineering Team works to deliver the #LoveableEx ambition of Schneider Digital. The diverse group of UX, product & engineering professionals are responsible for the Corporate Intranet / Digital Workplace, Enterprise Search & Employee Chatbots, working extensively on the Microsoft O365, AWS & Azure stack.

Role mission

The Product Delivery Manager sits within the Schneider Digital team reporting to the Director - Employee Experience Product & Engineering. They are responsible for the seamless delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet the needs of the organization. This involves leading a cross-functional team to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining a strong focus on quality and user satisfaction. The Product Delivery Manager will drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, foster collaboration among team members, and act as a key liaison between stakeholders and the development team to ensure alignment with business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technology acumen, an agile mindset, and the ability to navigate the complexities of a matrix organization.

Main responsibilities

Technology Strategy : Develop & present compelling business cases for technology initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders.

End-to-End Delivery Management : Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a cross-functional team including Product Owners, QA, Engineers, Project Managers, and Support staff.

Stakeholder Communication : Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, partnering with them on developing technology solutions for business problems, while ensuring transparency around regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.

Resource Allocation : Ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet project goals and timelines.

Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure success.

Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and improve delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Quality Assurance : Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and specifications, including data privacy, security & architectural standards.

Budget Management : Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective delivery.

Collaboration : Foster a collaborative environment to ensure seamless integration and cooperation among team members.

Vendor Management : Manage vendor relationships, ensuring effective delivery and contract management.

Qualifications

Skills and experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• MBA in Operations is preferred.

• Proven experience in leading technology transformations and managing large technology teams.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

• Experience in budget planning and management.

• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Understanding of software development processes, with Experience with cloud-based solutions and digital transformation initiatives.

• Experience in managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.

• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.

• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality in all deliverables.
