Location: Warrington (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days from home)
Working Hours: Standard hours from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday to Friday (with some out-of-hours support expected)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader for Remote Support Engineers to lead and supervise a dynamic team of 9-14 Remote Support Engineers. In this pivotal role, you will provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to your team while ensuring that we meet our service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver high-quality remote technical support to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Oversee team performance, evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive improvements in first-time fix rates.
  • Customer Relations: Collaborate with CSH Leadership to build productive relationships with key customers and demonstrate the value of Schneider Electric.
  • Technical Expertise: Handle escalated technical issues and provide expert resolution for complex customer problems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to enhance processes, tools, and knowledge base resources.
  • Training & Development: Implement structured training plans to improve the skills and competencies of individual team members.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Contribute to the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new remote technical support staff.
  • Process Implementation: Develop and implement processes to ensure successful adoption of new offers within the department.
    Candidate Requirements
    • Essential Skills:
      • Proven track record in people management with a focus on instilling a high-performance mentality within teams.
      • Strong leadership and communication skills
      • Understanding of Schneider Electric's offerings is preferred; familiarity with digital or smart buildings technology is beneficial.
    • Experience:
      • Previous experience in technical support and remote team management is required.
