We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DCS System Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience with industrial process automation and a strong background in test engineering of a distributed system. As part of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our next-generation DCS system.

What will you do?

  • Design and execute test plans and test cases for the Next Generation DCS system.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure efficient and comprehensive test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot system issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Utilize DCS domain expertise to validate system-wide Non-Functional Requirements such as performance, stability, and scalability.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies, including CI/CD.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Experience in industrial automation, control systems, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with DCS system architectures and hybrid distributed control methodologies.
  • In-depth domain knowledge and hands-on experience with Schneider DCS and M580 PLC systems, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC 61449, IEC 61131, OPC-UA, and others as applicable.
  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proven experience in test automation with a strong background in Robot Framework, Test Complete, and Selenium, or equivalent toolsets.

  • This role will report to the SW QA Engineering Senior Technical Manager

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Solid experience working in the role of a Software Test Engineer.
  • Experience with testing a distributed system.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Good understanding of ethernet networking.
