The Opportunity:
Our Buildings business creates integrated, multi-layered solutions that specialise in combining building services & intelligent automated systems. Our solutions enable owners, end users and custodians (such as; Commercial buildings, Hospitals and Data Centers), to intelligently monitor, meter and control the attributes of their assets in real time, reducing consumption and improving reliability and quality.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Integration Specialist to join our Digital Buildings Team. Located in Melbourne, the role will be responsible to work with customers, consultants, contractors and our internal team to create our integration solution. The role will coordinate the development, testing and implementation of Schneider Electric templates and share knowledge to the team.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Design and management of system integration projects including; Functional Description, Design Drawings and Checklist, Testing to ensure adherence to Australian standards (EPP, IMS/CPP) peripheral selections, Design Reports, and Value Engineer Solutions.
- Action project status reviews ensuring risk management plans and POCs are in place for all systems;
- Demonstrable solutions for projects with Proof of Concept (POC) testing
- Assist and support commissioning team to deliver engineered solution;
- Understand in and evolving integrations trends and ensure we are aware of them and possible solutions to meet customers needs.
- Assist sales, under direction of the Regional Manager, to design cost effective solution.
About You:
We don't want to narrow the field; however, we do believe that the skills needed to be successful in this role include:
- Proven experience in project documentation, design, engineering, commissioning and installation of BMS and Security solutions;
- Thorough understanding of various systems ie BMS/Security/EMS/Network, in smart buildings
- Working knowledge of commonly used open protocols in the industry, ie BACnet, Modbus, OPC, Webservice, SNMP
- IT skills ie SQL, networking and server virtualisation, MS project, Java Script
- Highly developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills;
- Superior customer service skills;
- Excellent stakeholder management;
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic or IT (or related discipline)
