System Sales Representative

What will you do?

This opportunity is a primary sales position in our Boston branch organization responsible for selling new systems construction work. This opportunity is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing Schneider Electric customers to identify the scope of work, estimate and sell new BAS, Security and Converged Network/ Div25 systems to meet or exceed his/her booking and booked gross margin budgets.

  • Develop and maintain an ongoing professional relationship with new or existing SE customers and industry contacts
  • Prospect for and identify potential sales opportunities
  • Team selling to expand SE XBU offers such as Power (Square D), IT (APC), and other offers.
  • Perform take-off and estimate costs of prospective sales opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics for individual sales opportunities
  • Generate and implement sales presentations
  • Prepare sales quotations and proposals
  • Process and analyze feasibility assessments and/or all bid/contract documents
  • Participate in overall sales planning strategy
  • Working cooperatively within a team environment

Who will you report to?
  • This position reprots to the Sales Manager in Boston, MA

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

  • Associate degree referred in engineering or other related field.
  • Must have 3 + years in Construction/Physical Securty/ IT or Controls sales.
  • Background with BAS and Physical Security systems and will have a familiarity with the construction market in the Boston Metro / New England Area.
  • Knowledge of purchasing processes and influencers within the purchasing process.
  • Abiliity to build relationships within the Developer, General Contractor, End-user, MEP consultant and Mechanical/Electrical contractor community to drive branch preference.
