Goal of the position:

The Supplier Sustainability Data Analytics team ensures the sustainability data and analytics are collected, actionable, governed, scalable and integrated throughout the organization. You will be a key part of a high-performing team with a collaborative mindset, taking pride in what we do. We are a mix of strategists, sustainability & compliance experts, analysts and doers who strive to be in the absolute forefront of corporate sustainability.
In this role, you'll take the helm as the guardian of our operational database. Your mission: Ensure seamless database admin maintenance, find and implement the best setup for our evolving regulatory data needs & handle sustainability projects with precision.

Tasks:
  • Act as an admin of the supplier sustainability database, manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments
  • Know and able to apply the company's ESG & CSR policies and practices with our suppliers
  • Manage databases of suppliers and parts:
    1. Extract supplier contacts, spend, part numbers and more from internal and external systems
    2. Build best in class solutions that supports the evolving regulatory reporting requirements
    3. Take ownership of own supplier portfolio and gather various sustainability data from 3 rd party databases, web scraping, or from the suppliers directly
    4. Data validation and registration :
      • Check, control and validate the collected data
      • Review data in the database: validate essential information as required, identify anomalies, communicate them to the team and to the manager for reconciliation, update entries in database (manually or by preparing upload documents)
    5. Escalation : identify inconsistencies, non-responding suppliers and quality concerns, request the support of procurement & management
  • Support the team to achieve the KPIs and SLAs set by the management
  • Share domain and technical expertise, providing technical mentorship and cross-training to others
  • Develop advanced business analytics solutions to solve complex problems and drive sustainability impact & business value.
  • Tool usage: SQL, PRISM (Tableau), SAP, MS Access, MS Excel, 3 rd party data provider tools
  • Participate in projects (tool development, data migration, process improvement, implementation of new regulations and more)

Expectations:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in similar data management role
  • Statistical modelling / data analysis experience in R, Python, SAS or similar tools
  • Strong SQL command and the ability to write complex queries on big data sets
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Experience with backups, restores and recovery models
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources including web APIs, databases and flat files
  • Ability to convey complex data insights clearly
  • Analytical problem-solving capabilities & experience
  • Be a team player but also an individual contributor


Desired skills & competencies:

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral in English
  • Mentoring skills & strong predisposition to knowledge-sharing
  • Advanced SQL, Excel, Access and Tableau
  • Well organised and able to prioritise
  • Excellent time management and monotony tolerance
  • VBA/Macro writing
  • Sustainability literacy
  • ESRS, CSRD knowledge is a huge plus
