MISSION
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead sustainability efforts for North America (NAM) HUB working with local and global counterparts to align objectives and identify synergies to meet local NAM ambition on sustainability for decarbonization and circular economy business animation. Ensure initiatives meet goals for customer satisfaction & quality, time to market opportunities and business development by generating green revenue via creating meaningful impact on decarbonization on climate, resources and brand of Schneider Electric products and solutions.
Development and adoption of creative solutions will require building strong relationships both inside and outside the company and bringing diverse perspectives to the table to find mutually beneficial solutions to today's challenges and others we will encounter in the future.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct the sustainable strategy for Home & Distribution NAM Line of Business
• Drive cultural and decision-making processes through the adoption of scopes 1-3 into our offer process
• Create and execute strategic plan for reduction and avoidance of carbon emissions across workstreams, leagues, and chapters
• Drive Offer & Financial innovation by collaborating closely with Sales and Global Supply Chain organizations to identify, pilot and scale offers aligned with Schneider's Circular Economy ambitions.
• Work with Application marketing leaders and product owners to develop decarbonization strategies for individual offers and integrate them into consolidated NAM Hub Sustainability strategy.
• Establish clear priorities on current and new offers for Scope 3 and Scope 4 savings and avoidance. Complete the integration of NAM Hub Sustainability strategy into NAM Hub Strategy story with strategy team.
• ON short term, create baseline of carbon emissions footprint on each offer working and coordinating with league leaders and the product owners.
• On midterm, think strategically to identify novel solutions to Schneider's sustainability challenges at the NAM Hub and bring tactical flexibility to get those proof of concept to the market.
• Assess and refine the current sustainability strategy & priorities and develop key goals/metrics for NAM Hub including integrating into overall Global Energy Management Sustainability strategy
• Watch market and competitive analysis from a Sustainability view
• Establish performance indicators and socialize them as common goals. (Green revenue targets, Green packaging conversion targets, green material conversion targets ...etc)
• Own internal stakeholder engagement to drive successful partnerships with NAM business stakeholders and enable cross-applications progress towards NAM Hub's sustainability & circular economy commitments
• Provide leadership and management oversight for Schneider's Sustainability commitments across Green Packaging, Green Materials & Green Value Propositions.
• External leadership, including work with strategy consultants and other external agencies (suppliers, C&S agencies), on market studies, outsourced projects and business partnerships.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree,
Any specialization in the field of Sustainable economy, Sustainable product development, decarbonization strategies, Manufacturing and supply chain is a plus
Minimum 8-10 years of work experience which includes close to 3 years of Manufacturing, supply chain, Product development and/ or business development experience.
