Sustainability Advisor

Mission

Reporting to the local End-User Sales Area Manager, the Sustainability Advisor will support clients on their decarbonization journey with consulting services from company level to site level to assist them to define roadmap and development plan. You'll join a passionate and highly motivated team of experts helping our clients navigate corporate structures and manage diverse groups of stakeholders to execute successful energy efficient and decarbonized strategies.

What will you do?

  • Perform and deliver energy efficiency audits. Identify and assess ECM (Energy Conservation Measures): energy savings, investments, and paybacks calculation (cold production, HVAC, lighting, steam, EMS, renewable energy, waste to energy, process, etc.)
  • Conduct on-site technical assessments at the customers' premises.
  • Lead carbon related discussions as a subject matter expert in front of the customer's stakeholders
  • Develop energy and greenhouse gas (GHG) / carbon emissions inventories, water footprints, waste footprints and other environmental inventories including data analysis, emission factor development, calculation methodology, web-system deployment and support clients' third-party environmental reporting activities
  • Develop or recommend initiatives and abatement models for achieving or informing corporate goals for energy reduction, green energy adoptions, or GHG reduction
  • Prepare or revise client communications for sustainability performance aligned to key industry reporting platforms
  • Organize, inform and partner with multi-disciplinary teams within Schneider Electric to help coordinate service and solutions delivery
  • Support relationships with regulatory entities, vendors and product/service companies
  • Contribute to the development of training resources for colleagues and external clients

What qualifications will make you successful?
  • New graduate in Energy Engineer (or similar) up to 1-2 previous experience in Energy/Sustainability field
  • Sustainability consultant approach
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Autonomous, team player, enthusiastic of learning and high-motivated to grow
  • Strong communication
  • Committed to learn about emerging global energy landscapes and technologies
