Job Title: Supply Chain Security Specialist

Location: North America (NAM)

Department: GSC NAM Transportation and Customs

Reports to: NAM Customs, Sr Manager

Job Summary

This position is the responsible party to keep the trusted partner status in terms of security in the supply chain for Schneider Electric NAM. Scope includes AEO, CTPAT and PIP certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security protocols to protect supply chain assets.
  • Assess risks and vulnerabilities in the supply chain and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to monitor adherence to security policies.
  • Train staff on security practices and emergency response procedures.
  • Investigate security incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for security assessments and incidents.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and security protocols.
  • Experience with risk assessment and management.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards (e.g., CTPAT, SPS).
  • Problem-solving skills, project administration and attention to detail.
  • Digital Citizen: Proven experience in leading/leverage digital initiatives.
  • SCSS Tools: Familiarity with CTPAT, AEO, VUCEM, PIP portals.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of security capex, opex and budget control processes.
  • Business Operations Knowledge: Familiarity with operational support, manufacturing, and supply chain dynamics.

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, security management, Logistics, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Protection Prof., CSCP Apics, PMP) are a plus.

• +5y previous experience in customs compliance / operations, security at plant level, digital transformations or logistics is often preferred.

• Lobbying with authorities experience under external audit scenarios.
