Schneider Electric Columbia Missouri Plant has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Supply Chain Planning Supervisor. You will be primarily accountable for leading and mentoring the material buyers and planners while effectively managing the purchase order portfolio, stocking discrepancies, and the backorder/backlog within the Missouri Plant.
What will you do?
- Lead and mentor the buyers and planners on key metrics and performance goals as needed.
- Be responsible for people management including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well being.
- Manage team according to Schneider Production System (SPS) and Short Interval Management (SIM) guidelines.
- Define and update planning parameters to achieve service level objectives while optimizing inventory level.
- Manage the purchase order portfolio and analyze stock discrepancies.
- Be the first level of escalation for the Customer Claim Process (CCP) and supplier escalation.
- Be the first level of escalation for invoice disputes.
- Supervise the efficiency of shortages and backorder/backlog management for upstream and downstream flows.
- Supervise stock levels and coverage according to service level for team.

Who will you report to? Supply Chain Planning Manager
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's degree in in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration is required.
- 2-4 years' experience in Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing setting is an asset.
- Ability to create and lead high performance teams.
- Experience with Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP).
- Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Effective communication, facilitation, and strong negotiation skills.
- Problem-solving skills and strong project management skills are required.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively and has strong decision-making skills.
- Strong relationship and collaborative management skills.
- Proficient with using computers and advanced knowledge with applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data visualization software such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
