Schneider Electric is offering an exciting opportunity for the role of Supply Chain Planning Manager at our facility in Lexington, KY. In this role, you will have a key responsibility in coordinating and overseeing supply chain planning activities for a specific entity, product, range of products, or region. Your proactive and responsive approach will be essential in delivering effective results and providing guidance to executive management on supply chain planning activities.
What will you do in this position?
- Supervise a large scope of the Supply Chain Planning function.
- Organize and manage the Supply Chain Planning function for a given entity/product/range of products/region.
- Advise the executive management regarding the Supply Chain Planning activities.
- Ensure the implementation of Industrial policy and develop the necessary skills.
- Manage the team according to SPS/SIM rules and cycle events of the plant.
- Be responsible for people management, including goal setting, performance management, competency development, recognition, engagement, and well-being.
- Manage resources versus the load according to the MPS and the customer portfolio: Warehouse and MPH.
- Manage the performance and productivity of resources: Warehouse and MPH.
- Responsible for logistics department cost.
- Animate the Master Production Plan by analyzing needs and achievements and proposing necessary resources.
- Pilot internal and external resources to satisfy customer needs in terms of on-time delivery.
- Lead and improve supplier's performance in terms of service level, lead time, and lot size.
- Lead and improve plant flow performance by applying SPS principles (Waiting queue, MPH, Pull flow, warehousing efficiency).
- Optimize inventories and coverage according to service level and capital employed.
- Manage the ranges ramp down/up and obsolescence.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or related discipline required.
- 5+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Supervisor or leadership experience.
- Lean manufacturing experience.
