We are looking for an experienced Strategy & Business Development analyst to provide support to Japan ' s Country President to adapt, develop and execute the execution of the country ' s commercial strategy in alignment with Country President, Business Units and Global Function strategy.

What will you do?

  • Formulate the strategy around the area covered by Strategy & Business Development organization - Mid term strategy, Market research for new business opportunities, Business Intelligence (market intel, competitor analysis)
  • Support Japan Country President in Inorganic Strategic actions such as partnering and M&A etc
  • Influence BUs to achieve the strategic goal as a proactive internal consultant.
  • Provide the management with complete assistance on shaping medium and long- term direction and resource allocation through collaboration with other functions.
  • Formulate the preparation for Country Quarterly Business Review ("QBR") and support Japan Country President for smooth reporting
  • Drive Country AMSP (Annual Marketing & Sales Plan) process across business

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in business development roles focused on transformation in large enterprises or in getting involved in the BU and driving initiatives
  • MBA, Business and/or engineering related degree preferred
  • Extensive Program / Project Management experience: defining, developing, implementing, executing, and managing
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) skills. Experience communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Excellent business and financial acumen skills including business case construction and deal negotiation.
  • Operational excellence mind-set and experience. Data driven. Excellent at problem-solving skills and simplifying complexity and developing scalable propositions.
  • Ability to multitask and manage portfolio of cross-functional projects within the program - good sense of prioritization, planning, collaboration, and management.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities.
  • Demonstrate a strong bias for action and hands on approach
  • Business level Japanese and English skills
