The Future Ready Intern will enable the advancement of Schneider Electric's (SE) commitment to support all generations through existing Corporate Citizenship programs and new initiatives. You will assist on the development of diverse Corporate Citizenship initiatives, all focused on the social impact element of sustainability, including decent working conditions across the supply chain, creating equal development opportunities across generations, and the international expansion of certain initiatives linked to social innovation and entrepreneurship.
You will have a specific focus on the awareness building, storytelling, thought leadership, and communication elements of these programs to ensure that employees globally understand what they mean and what they must put in place.

Responsibilities & objectives:
In the frame of the Corporate Citizenship strategy and the Future Ready program
- Support in the Decent Work Program, to ensure that all employees of Schneider Electric (in over 100 countries) benefit from the highest standards of decent working conditions. This will allow you to learn about diverse topics, including diversity equity & inclusion, human rights, unacceptable employment conditions, etc. You will assist in global awareness building and training of local HR teams on these topics and the communication of action plans to ensure compliance on these subjects.
- Contribute to the mission of supporting all generations: both actions for youth from disadvantaged backgrounds in France and for the older generation through the global expansion of the Senior Talent Program. You will be in close partnership with other Future Ready team members for the communication in France and with the global HR teams in order to communicate and support the global deployment of the Senior Talent Program.
- Support the evolution of the Schneider Initiatives (corporate social responsibility or CSR) which consists of four key CSR initiatives focused on engaging employees and offering them new career opportunities for professional growth and learning. The evolution includes transformation and growth of the initiatives in France, as well as the geographical expansion of initiatives to other markets. Across the different initiatives, you will work on the storytelling and communication to most effectively grow the engagement in France and sell the story to other Country Presidents and local HR teams in order to deploy in their countries, and then communicate to all employees to increase participation on the topic. Across the different Passes, you will help the team make connections to local strategies and sustainability initiatives to adapt the models to best suit the countries needs.
- "Creation Pass" is an internal business creation program which guides SE employees interested in starting their own businesses.
- "Solidairity Pass" offers employees the possibility to be detached from their current mission for a certain amount of time in an NGO. This program offers a mutually enriching experience where the employee can offer their skills to the NGO while expanding their ways of working and learning from the new mission.
- "Competencies Pass" offers employees the possibility to work for a certain time at a start-up or small company. This program offers a mutually enriching experience where the employee can offer their skills to the start-up while expanding their ways of working and strengthening SE's relationship with the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
- "Education Pass" offers employees the possibility to work for a certain time at an academic institution/educational body (e.g., as a professor as a partner university). This program offers a mutually enriching experience where the employee can offer expertise.
Skills:
- Agility: Ability to go beyond traditional working methods and stay flexible during changing circumstances
- Professional proficiency in English and French required (more languages is a bonus) and cross-cultural management profile
- Data driven decision making: Ability to synthesize information collected from different countries and teams to create strategies, tell a narrative, and operationalize solutions that fit their needs
- Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams throughout global regions. Ability to deliver strong communication tools to raise awareness on diverse topics
- Autonomous and proactive: Ability to take initiative, work as part of a team, and inspire trust by demonstrating sound judgment and integrity
- Curious with a drive to learn and deliver high impact
