We are hiring a Staff Sr. Design Engineer/ Technical Expert with a strong background in Embedded Hardware Design to join the Schneider Electric Solar + Storage team in Bangalore.

What will you do?

• Lead the translation of project requirements into detailed hardware designs, including Architecture, schematics and PCB layouts.

• Critically Review PCB Layouts before release.

• Methodically Execute the board bring-up process, identifying and resolving hardware-related challenges.

• Demonstrate a deep working knowledge of MCU/MPU architectures, memories, and wireless communication and communication protocols between different Devices in the overall system architecture.

• Owns the responsibility for DFM /DFA/DFT closures.

• Shall own design to meet the necessary Compliance requirement and regulatory standards.

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or Electronics Engineering or a related field with 8-12yrs of experience

• Proven track record in hardware design, including translating requirements, schematics, layout, and successful board bring-up. End to End Product development experience is critical.

• Strong working knowledge of MCU/MPU architectures, Memory and wireless communication technologies.

• Working knowledge of High-speed interfaces DDR3/DDR4/ GMII/RGMII is MUST.

• PoE PD and PSE design experience is highly desirable .

• Solid understanding and application knowledge of design for manufacturability and design for testability principles.

• Experience in EMI/EMC testing for different standard is MUST.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
