What will you do?

The Senior Solution Sales Support Engineer for Digital Power Systems is accountable for providing all aspects of sales support for Power Monitoring & Controls, Power Factor Correction, PCA, Microgrid Medium and Low Voltage Equipment supporting channel customers, and serves as a subject matter expert on bridge front office (BFO) CRM for sales.

  • Provides commercial and technical support to the sales and opportunity leaders in an understanding of business context, defining opportunity portfolio/solution.
  • A nalyzes customer requests and converts them into Schneider Electric Power Solutions.
  • Supports the proposal and through the negotiation process to successful closure.
  • Supports identifying and qualifying opportunities, influencing and developing solutions.
  • Supports Bid Invest decisions, and prepares the proposals and offers.
  • Support risk assessment before submitting the offers.
  • Support commercial and technical impact evaluation during the bid process.
  • Provides solutions, product, and services application support for Digital Power Line of Business in focused segments and/or territories as required.
  • Serve as the SME (Super Champion) of bFo and assist in managing our network of excellence via our champion network of peers.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

Qualifications:

This job might be for you if:

  • Hybrid work schedule is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree or 5-10 years industry experience.
  • Proven quotation experience in the Electrical Industry.
  • Knowledgeable on the following products:
    • Medium Voltage Equipment including: MetalClad Switchgear, Metal Enclosed Switchgear and Power Transformers
    • Low Voltage Equipment including: Low Voltage Draw-out Switchgear, Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, Pad Mount Transformers, Dry Type Transformers, simple Drives.
  • Experience with Energy/Power Management third-party products and how they can be integrated into a power solutions systems is a plus.
  • Understand and have the ability to apply NEC equipment standards and local Codes.
  • Understanding of competitor products.
  • Self-motivated team player with good time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to effectively utilize company software programs/collaborative tools and the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously.
