Summary: This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of electronic components used in our company's products. You will be responsible for developing and executing qualification plans, conducting tests, analyzing results, and making recommendations for component selection and usage. This position requires a strong understanding of electronic components, testing methodologies, and industry standards.
Minimum Experiences:
• Develop and execute qualification plans for electronic components based on product requirements, industry standards, and risk assessments.
• Conduct various tests on components, including environmental, electrical, mechanical, and reliability testing.

• Analyze test results, identify potential failure modes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Select and qualify new components for product designs, considering factors such as performance, cost, availability, and reliability.
• Maintain a database of qualified components and associated test data.
• Collaborate with design engineers, procurement specialists, and manufacturing teams to ensure proper component selection and usage.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new technologies, and component advancements.
• Prepare and present technical reports and presentations on component qualification activities.
• May mentor and train junior engineers on component qualification and testing procedures.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques.
Familiarity with test automation tools and methodologies.
Experience with project management and risk assessment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Qualifications
Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in electronic component qualification and testing.
• Strong understanding of electronic components, their applications, and limitations.
• Experience with various testing methodologies, including environmental, electrical, mechanical, and reliability testing.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with industry standards and regulations (e.g., IPC, JEDEC) is a plus.
