As an Senior Field Service Technician (f/m/d) for frequency converters at our development and production site in 1210 Vienna (Ruthnergasse) you can contribute your know-how. With our mix of responsibility and varied tasks, we are sure to convince you!
In our "Expert Center Drives" we cover the after-sales area: We support commissioning directly at the customer's site and go troubleshooting in the field of drive technology.
Your tasks
- You will advise and support our service technicians worldwide on site during the commissioning of large-scale projects, whereby the focus will be on frequency inverters.
- The travel time is 50 % - you will be on the road for between one week (within Europe) and up to three weeks (intercontinental)
- If our technical support can no longer help, you will help: in the course of troubleshooting, you will first access the systems remotely and, with the help of your expertise, always find the right solution
- You don't think in terms of problems, but find solutions, whereby your talent for improvisation helps you
- You train technicians in our training centre in Vienna as well as on site and contribute your know-how to the conception of new training courses

Your profile
- You are an engineer (f/m/d) with a diploma, bachelor's or master's degree, e.g. in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, control engineering or alternatively have an HTL degree
- You are practically familiar with PLC programming (e.g. IEC 611-31, Codesys)
- Ideally, you already have basic knowledge in the area of frequency converters and/or automation technology with field bus systems
- You have an understanding of electric motors, transformers, automation technology and IIoT
- You are fluent in English and enjoy working in an international and multicultural environment
- Worldwide business trips (approx. 50%) are no problem for you - the encounter with other cultures is interesting for you

The collective agreement minimum wage for this position is EUR 3024.27 gross (full-time basis). An overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualifications and experience, is a matter of course for us.
