Sr Principal, ERP Project Manager

We are looking for a talented Senior ERP Project Manager to join our team. The first assignment for this role will be the Global UNIFY project. UNIFY consists of various digital and technical streams. The role will join a team of Project Managers and Project Management Officers to help steer and control the portfolio of projects across the Schneider Digital Portfolio.

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects according to deadlines and within budget. This role involves coordinating team members and resources, as well as communicating with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.

What will you do?

• Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Team Coordination: Lead and motivate project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring collaboration among members.
• Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects stay within financial limits.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project status and addressing concerns.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational goals.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and meeting notes.
• Performance Tracking: Use project management tools to track progress, manage timelines, and report on key metrics.
• Coach and develop the project teams in the project methodology as well as in key behaviors required for a successful implementation.
• Report to senior stakeholder timely and through steerco presentations, project gate reviews etc.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Master's degree in IT/engineer or other relevant discipline
• PMP / PRINCE II (or similar) certification is a plus
• 10+ years of IT working experience with 5+ years dedicated to Project Management of major IT projects and transformations (preferable within the ERP domain)
• With an excellent track record in delivering complex projects in high pressure environments.
• Knowledge of the project management processes, techniques and tools for implementing IT projects. Knowledge about SAP Activate methodology is a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to work as part of an extended virtual team.
• Proficiency with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
• Experience with agile methodologies

• Good collaboration skills, with ability to work with multiple project teams across the world
