This Six Sigma Black Belt (BB) is responsible for driving the regional COPQ, Scrap, Warranty and Obsolete management for the regional team. This position will implement Six Sigma/RED X methodologies and drive continuous improvement in the end-to-end supply chain process. This role involves extensive collaboration with plant, cross-functional teams and LOB teams to enhance customer satisfaction by removing defects from our process. This BB change agent will be an internal consultant resolving the regions complicated operational issues and developing a multi-phase Continuous Improvement strategy.
What will you do?
Cost Reduction Initiatives:
• Identify opportunities to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality within manufacturing operations by analyzing rework, scrap, and warranty expenses.

• Develop and implement strategies to minimize excess and obsolete costs.
Continuous Improvement Projects:
• Lead and drive continuous improvement projects in manufacturing plants, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other quality improvement frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and ensure successful project execution.
Coaching and Development:
• Coach and mentor quality professionals in manufacturing operations to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality management practices.
• Provide training and support to teams on quality improvement tools and techniques to improve quality KPIs.
Performance Monitoring:
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present reports to management on progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaboration:
• Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on quality objectives and continuous improvement goals.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What qualifications will make you successful?
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification from ASQ; extensive portfolio of completed Black Belt projects with multi-million-dollar accumulated savings, completed in large organizations.
• 10+ years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing, with at least 10 years of experience in Six Sigma/RedX /CI/TOC
• Excellent leadership skills with an ability to lead leaders, guide, motivate, and delegate to deliver results, build teams and capabilities, embrace change, drive decisions and results, and influence in customer first culture culture.
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Persuasive and influential communication skills to lead strategic planning discussions and present to a variety of audiences.
• Passionate to Customer Satisfaction & Quality improvement
• Skills in continuous improvement tools like 8D, FMEA, six sigma, lean manufacturing etc..
• PMP certification will a plus
