For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $164,000 - $246,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.
The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The mission of the Sr. Finance Manager, Prosumer Hardware North America role is to help the Prosumer Hardware North America Line of Business make the most informed decisions possible for the benefit of Schneider Electric. They are going to aid the business decision making process through a deep understanding of the business drivers affecting performance and providing insightful analysis to drive actions, all while balancing the need to harmonize and simplify our current processes across geographies.
The Sr. Finance Manager is directly responsible to the VP, Prosumer on all areas of finance; including but not limited to P&L Management, Cost Control, Key Internal Controls and Risk Management.
- Ensure business vision is translated into executable strategy
- Work to build, challenge and refine the strategic plan and the offer/product portfolio to support profitable growth as well as efficiency and effectiveness of investments.
- Partners with LoB Leadership to Drive P&L management.
- Manages the month-end close processes for the LoB.
- Reviews, Develops, Implements and Validates the Key Internal Controls within their scope.
- Point of Contact for various specialists, including Tax, Audit, AP/AR, ...
- Leads the Budget & Forecast Processes, working with business partners
- Conducts variance analysis vs Budget & Forecast - presenting results to management
- Anticipates risk and opportunities on the short, medium and long term and works with business partners to react appropriately
- Supports partners on projects: justification, implementation and spending
- Develop the skills and competencies of direct report(s)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance -or- MBA
- 10+ of Finance Experience, preferably with Start-up, R&D or Manufacturing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple objectives, prioritize & deliver results
- Managerial experience a plus
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- SAP experience a plus
