Job Overview:
As the East Europe Sourcing Project Manager, you will lead and manage sourcing projects across the East European region, ensuring alignment with Schneider Electric's strategic objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize sourcing strategies, drive cost savings, and enhance supplier performance while maintaining quality and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify the technologies, parts to be transferred based on Supply securization, Capacity needs, Productivity to reach the maximum volume to be transferred to East Europe from MEC and China + India in alignment with Power of 2 stream
- Prepare the sourcing strategy of the respective East Europe sourcing projects
- Select the most adapted supplier's panel for each project. Make sure they are in line with our requirements in term of quality, logistics and prices and work in cooperation with concerned stakeholders (SSL, RCM, OFP, PPM, MPL ...) to get the best from each supplier considering the actual priorities. Foster strong relationships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Be the main contact for all discussions and negotiations with the new suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Secure that procurement is pulling the project by challenging LoBs on qualifications, SQ&E, Supply Chain for on-boarding. Organizing the kick-off with stakeholders , drive the project and complete the project in time on budget as per the planning coordinating with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Monitor and report on sourcing project status, addressing any issues or risks proactively. Drive Rolling Forecast Quarterly base and secure commitments for YE landing.
- Lead sourcing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Make an accurate risk assessment for any choice done
- Analyze market trends and conduct sourcing analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities. Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and conditions.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, quality, logistics, etc.) to ensure sourcing aligns with product requirements and business goals. Support our internal customers by making sure best conditions are offered by the suppliers to them and control information networks to release specific and correct data to their ERP.
- Support the introduction of new products and initiatives by providing sourcing insights and recommendations.
- Ensure sourcing practices align with Schneider Electric's sustainability goals and compliance standards.
- Promote ethical sourcing practices and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Way of Working: active acquisition, 30-40% of time spent suppliers, 30-40% with the receiving plants, 20%-40% office/home office
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the East European market min 3 years
- Experience in supplier transfers. Solid supplier's relation experience in an international environment with appropriate network including but not limited to start-up's, mainstream technological manufacturers, engineering groups
- Mechanical engineering studies, design experience/background is an advantage
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and market research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Result orientation: on-time execution of project, on targeted productivity
- Willing to travel frequently for supplier visits
- Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage
- Preferably PES knowledge
- Preferably should cost experience
- Experience in team management is an advantage
