Schneider Electric has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of Solutions Architecture Engineer (SAE) for The Industry Business of Schneider Electric providing cutting edge automation solutions to help machine builders and control panel shop add value to their systems through our cutting-edge technologies and services.
The right candidate will have a proven track record of experience as an advanced solution design consultant and engineer in the industrial automation field (covering PLC, SCADA, Motion, Variable Frequency Drives...etc.).
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide technical pre-sales support for OEM sales, including addressing OEM accounts prescription, machines conversion, and new machines design specifications.
- Visit customers alongside the salesforce, detecting and following up leads for billable pre-sales services, introducing EcoStruxureTM Machine solutions, and building demos when needed.
- Develop technical and commercial argumentation documents, support requests, and solution contracts, serving as the main technical interface for support requests and solution contracts.
- Support Channel partners with technical sales requests, implement appropriate TVDA architectures, and recommend competitive architecture for OEM customers' needs.
- Provide technical expertise to OEM customers when defining machine specifications/tender documents, offering recommendations and support for upgrade/interconnectivity with SE industrial automation legacy offers.
- Contribute to the EcoStruxureTM Machine Experts Program, collaborating with global technical pre-sales experts, providing customer solutions, offering feedback, sharing best practices, and supporting multi-countries opportunities.

Qualifications
- Relevant experience in designing automation and control systems for OEM machinery.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation, technical engineering, or application design.
- Expertise in regional standards, regulations, and network communication.
- Experience with target OEM customer profile or channel partner from targeted OEM applications.
- Strong ability to build optimized architectures for OEM customers and channel partners based on broad technical knowledge of automation market, technology, communication networks, and architectures.
