The modular Data Centers have been driving a tremendous growth to the segment during the last years. The Prefabricated Data Center Line of Business integrates Schneider products into modular enclosures, test the systems in the factory and deliver the final solution to the country of destination.

As PreFab Solution Architect you will work on projects of medium to high technical and commercial complexity. Primarily support early selling stages by providing expertise on Schneider's system and architecture platform. Support Opportunity Pursuit Leader by first understanding customer's business requirements and constraints, and then using tested validated architecture designs to meet customer requirements and bring a differentiating value proposition. Help explain and demonstrate the technical advantages of the architecture and answer deep technical questions on integration / compatibility of components inside an architecture. Your segment focus will be mainly Data Center Systems, Prefabricated Modular Data Centers

What will you do?
Capitalizing on in-depth knowledge of customer process, applications, and decision criteria in the segment , t he Solution Architect works inside East Asia region closely with the Sales to bring a differentiating value proposition to the customer, leveraging the complete Schneider Electric offer portfolio : electrical, mechanical, structural and fire systems.
The Solutions Architects in our team have the responsibility to :
- Understand the customer's segment specific business challenge, their process, needs, requirements and constraints to propose the best solution to the customer.
- Support the Sales force and customers as a trusted advisor, technical consultant, and process expert to implement Schneider Electric cross domain segment solutions.
- Define, use, and customize and create Tested, Validated & Documented Architectures (TVDA) to meet customer requirements and bring differentiating value proposition, design optimised and valid architectures filling the functional specification.
- Help e stablish solution strategy and best practices.
- Review customer RFQ and create the Compliance, Deviations and Exceptions list
- Influence customer RFQ . Translates such RFQ into possible technological solutions .
- Provide complex technical design including technical proposals to be included in commercial proposals
- Internally coordination with the Business Units needed/involved in the tendering stage
- Capitalize on your in-depth knowledge of customer processes, applications, and decision criteria in your segment.
- Works in conjunctions with the client and the development team to arrive at the recommended solution and provides direct support in meetings and presentations.
- Presents recommended solution to client for validation and improvements .
- Utilizes a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their use and demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology needed.
- Keeps abreast of technological developments and applications to initiate enhanced solutions .
- Identify and promote actions that allow the development of technological solutions for customers .
- Communicate and coordinate communications among key stake holders in the opportunity , including customer , Schneider entities and factories .
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- B achelor's D egree in an Engineering discipline , Electrical Engineering preferrable
- At least f ive years of experience in Data Center Industry including but not limited to Secure Power Systems, Cooling systems, Electrical and Mechanical installations.
- Certified in Uptime and/or Data Center Dynamics or demonstrated similar knowledge and experience
- Previous Customer facing roles preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team oriented and results driven
- Strong organization and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills ( written and verbal ),
- Results oriented, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Influence and convince skills
- Capacity for autonomy, initiative, and proactivity
- Decision-making and escalate appropriately when arbitration is required .
- Foster cooperation and people motivation in a multi-cultural environment and different time zone
- Knowledge of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), L ow voltage electrical panels , MV equipment, Cooling units, etc.
- Computer tools at user level: Uninet , SE Design Portal, ISX
- Familiar with Building Information Modelling and BIM tools (REVIT)
