JOB DESCRIPTION

As part of the Strategic Customers Team the Industry Solutions Architect works with the Strategic Account Sale Executives to drive growth in the Semiconductor Market Segment. Serve as a bridge from sales to execution leading technical/architectural discussions on deployment, service and growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As part of the sales process, provides cross segment operational, functional, and constructional capabilities, acting as trusted advisor that brings together customer needs to architect digital solutions
  • Provides technical depth, understands, adapts, and applies Schneider Electric's full portfolio of offerings and solutions within the Customer's IT/OT environment including AVEVA and digital partners
  • Applies an in-depth knowledge of customer processes, parameters to be optimized, and decision criteria to bring differentiated solutions
  • Brings fresh industry and technology insights and innovation perspective to influence the operational and technical functions to build a pyramid of trust up to the key decision makers with strategic Semiconductor customers
  • Keep up to date on IIOT technologies and advancements and share with the team
  • Collaborative, leading multi-domain teams developing the best technical solution and know the internal resources

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES
  • Highly motivated and experienced individual who has a proven record of developing customer relationships through architecting and providing digital industrial solutions that drive profitable sales growth
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or work experience equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years' experience as a customer facing IIOT solution architect
  • Ability to see and present the 'big picture' and offer solutions within that context
  • Digital authority on the OT/IT landscape, systems integration, cloud, analytics, cybersecurity and standards
  • Proficiency in understanding industrial operations management, asset performance management and industrial automation
  • Knowledge of energy, electrical distribution and building automation software
  • Familiarity in working with diverse IIOT technology platforms - both hardware and software, from Embedded Edge devices to cloud based PaaS/SaaS
  • Familiarity with big data and analytics tools
  • Ability to thrive in uncertainty, adapt to changes in the market and pivot as needed
  • Strong relationship building & communication skills
  • Tenacity, resilience, emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work collaboratively, within a sales team and the solution architect community
  • Ability to travel within North America as needed
