We are looking for a Software Testing Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in software validation and testing. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in Python, Linux, and test automation tools such as Robot Framework. They will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, developing automation scripts, and ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded systems in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Definition: Collaborate with development teams to understand and define embedded system requirements.
- Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans using tools such as JIRA.
- Test Case Design: Create detailed test cases covering all functional and non-functional aspects of the system to ensure complete validation.
- Test Execution: Perform various tests on embedded systems, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance tests. Experience with Omicron for electrical protection, insulation, and system quality testing is a plus.
- Results Documentation: Document test results, report issues, and provide clear, concise feedback using tools like JIRA, XRay, etc.
- Results Analysis: Evaluate test outcomes to verify system compliance with specified requirements.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with software, hardware, and firmware engineers to identify and resolve issues, enhancing system performance.
- Test Automation: Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve testing efficiency. Experience with DevSecOps practices is highly valued.
- Documentation Review: Ensure technical documentation is current and accessible, including user manuals and technical specifications, using SharePoint for storage.
- Regulatory Compliance: Verify that the system complies with industry regulations and standards.
- Agile Methodology: Perform all tasks following Agile work methodologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field focused on software validation and development.
Technical Knowledge and Experience:
- Python and Linux operating systems.
- Static Testing (review of requirements, user documentation, etc.).
- Proficiency with commercial automation tools, such as Robot Framework, for validating:
- Web applications
- Desktop applications
- Embedded software
- Experience in automating different types of tests:
- Functional Testing
- Non-Functional Testing (performance and reliability)
- Regression Testing
Preferred Qualifications (a plus):
- ISTQB Certification
- Knowledge of various testing methodologies, such as:
- Model-Based Testing
- Definition and use of Test Oracles
- Combinatorial Testing Techniques to optimize test coverage
- Experience working in Agile and DevSecOps environments
- Familiarity with:
- Schneider Electric devices
- Real-Time Systems
- Communication Protocols
- Devices installed in electrical substations
- PLC Programming
Languages:
- Fluent English (B2 level or higher)
