This position is responsible to provide Software solutions, products, and services proposals, quotations, floor layouts, network architecture to partners & customers.
Most importantly this role ensures the successful closure of software sales opportunities for all EcoStruxure IT Core Products and Services.
In addition, this role will assist in closing Software Maintenance Support Contracts of Data Center Expert, used by existing customers.
The Job scope of the Software Technical Associate is to prepare the proposal and quotation based on the quarterly pipeline of new sales opportunities identified in BFO/SFDC. You'll next meet the customer online, along with Sales, collect Customer requirements information, understand customer's challenges, and prepare Software Solution Design, proposal, quotation, floor layout, network architecture, integration, implementation MS Project Plan, BOM, and UAT Script.

What will you do?
- Work on quarterly opportunities pipeline of Software Customer in BFO & SFDC
- Work with in-country Pre-Sales Engineer and validate Software requirements/update changes in BFO & SFDC
- Daily meeting with EcoStruxure IT Pre-Sales Associate and In-Country Sales/Account Manager, run through opportunities solution design, BOM, integration, pricing, and discounts.
- Understand Customer/Partner additional requirements, understand the customer needs and expectations.
- Work with SW Sales BD & Sales team on Proposal preparation & submission
- Region coverage are APJ, ME, Europe, SAM
- Additional responsibilities - Submission of SW Renewal Contract quotation to Partner/End Customer for small and medium customers. Call/send email to Existing Customers expired SW Maintenance Contract, remaining to renew.
- Provide scope of Renewal of Software Maintenance Contracts
- Provide Software Solutions to Migrate old version to new version & value-added services.
What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree
- Fluent in French
- Good knowledge of English
- Added advantage if the candidates have knowledge and experience on Data Center UPS, Cooling, Power Distribution, DCIM monitoring and operation solutions, IT industry, and background in Technical Software solutions
- Good understanding of general LAN/WAN internetworking (Firewall, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc)
- Good understanding of Salesforce system, Oracle application, InTouch System, MS Office, Excel Spreadsheet Pivot Table customer data consolidation knowledge
- Prepare Proposal & Quotation using MS Office application
- Creation of Software Maintenance Contract Value Proposition
- Working Knowledge of MS Visio, Process Workflow, and Methodology
- previous experience in software solution selling and consulting is an advantage
- ITSM / DCIM Certification will be added advantage.
