MISSION
This position is responsible for selling and fully accountable for the Orders & revenue growth in an assigned area of strategic interest - EcoStruxure IT Line of Business product portfolio, which encompasses the DC White space, Mechanical and Electrical domains. The solutions involved are EcoStruxure IT Advisor suite, DC Expert, IT Expert, Cooling Optimize, Software Services, Advanced Custom Solutions and other offers.The position has a regional scope covering JAPAN. This is a quota carrying role with quarterly and annual Orders targets.
Responsibilities include, supporting Countries and zones to deliver growth with actionable play books, training, on the ground coaching, Lead target setting, resource allocation and geographical priorities, in agreement and collaboration with IT Commercial CoE, LOB, Global Operations and Global Field services.

This position will oversee the development of strategic business plans, marketing programs, sales strategy to drive sales growth in the designated region. Works with key personnel in relevant industries to analyze market and technology trends.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads and directs activities in preparation of sales/GTM strategies, product launch, roadmaps, strategic plans and annual business plans to ensure revenue growth in ESX IT business
- Ensure strong funnel and accurate forecasting of the business performance to Regional Sales Director, APAC, and Japan's stakeholders
- Accountable for the growth ambition and target achievement of ESX IT in the assigned regions
- Subject matter expert for Data Center Management and Software, as well as sound knowledge of Data Center ecosystems & technologies, especially in relation to Power & Cooling
- Business Development, solutions Design in collaboration with Regional Applications Centers specifically relating to DC Software portfolio of offers
- Dotted line accountability to the BVP
- Ensure the governance for Data Center Core Software offers, i.e. DCIM and Cooling Optimize, as wellas their associated Solution & Services
- Thought Leadership relating to Data Center Infrastructure Mgmt (DCIM) within the region
- Creation of a DC Software Community of Practice and monthly cadence with the countries/zones
- Set Standards for DC Software offers
- Industry advocate
- QA of customer deliverables to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain a strong interface to Japan's Secure Power/Data Center & Networks management team
- New DC Software offer development in collaboration with product managers
- External branding of offer via professional networks, international conferences, press etc.
- Works with marketing, sales, and presales to implement business development strategy into specific initiatives.
- Assists in the development of strategic direction from market information, and create compelling market analysis presentations.
- Works with training teams on the delivery of sales and technical training for this offer
- Analyzes market data to identify key trends and issues. Drive sales growth of full Data Center Core Software Offers in the assigned territories.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Education: 3 - Degree or equivalent professional experience
- Certification: Optional Certifications: ITIL V3, Prince2/PMI, Sales Methodology (E.g Miller Heiman, Revenue Storm, TAS)
- Job related Experience: 8+ years experences in related field. i.e. Enterprise Software, BMS, UPS, HVAC, Solution Selling and Consulting Skills, Complex Multi National Systems deployment, Software Services, Multi National and Regional, Business and Offer development, Consulting Team Management, Excellent Presentation Skills, P&L management
- Language: Speak and write English (Advance level) & Japanese (Fluent/Native)
- Travel requirement: International & Domestic
