• An accomplished networker who builds long-lasting relations with value chain players, from end users, to consultants, system integrators, operators, engineering procurement and construction firms, system integrators and distributors, including internal company stakeholders, and is regarded by the industry as a domain expert in his/her field
• An authentic leader who with high personal energy and effective communication can gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, define the product vision, and work closely with sales, marketing, R&D and customer support teams to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Product Manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, from gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, to defining the product short term, mid- and long-term vision, and working closely with internal Schneider Electric teams, such as WWW Segment organization, Sales and Account Management in regional / country operations, Global Marketing, Global Supply Chain and IA Business unit teams such as IIOT Solutions, Digital Factory and AVEVA, to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.

The Product Manager also ensures that the product supports the company's overall strategy and goals. The Product Manager will carry the following responsibilities:

• Identification of market, pricing, and margin strategies for specific software products to establish or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena
• Product planning, roadmap evolution, competitive analysis, pricing, sales tools, and sales/channel support. He / She will be responsible for the products' financial lifecycle, driving the products forward and being accountable of the product sales, profitability and return of investment
• Establish product value, usability and feasibility and presenting these authoritatively to stakeholders
• Setting the product technology strategy to ensure the constituent modules make a coherent product, and that product is industrialized and ready to be sold through partners around the world, with the required documentation
• Providing the necessary inputs to R&D team needed to allow them to build the required functionality to help ensure product success
• Ensuring the products deliver valuable and usable functionality to users and customer stakeholders as well as to the business
• Identifying opportunities for new modules (or in new markets) from a business, functional and technical perspective
• Work with marketing to plan, develop, and implement sales tools in support of the product business and marketing plan
• Evaluate/monitor existing/potential competitive products and develop strategies to win more market share. Create competitive positioning strategy for sales enablement

REQUIRED SKILLS

The Product Manager role is a key strategic role in Schneider Electric IIOT Solutions team, as this person will drive the product roadmap and ensure product success. In this leadership role, to be considered the candidate must meet the following criteria:

• Extensive experience and knowledge of digital solutions, software technologies, engineered solutions, and services into the water cycle management industry
• At least 10 years' successful experience in product management, strategy, business management, product development in the software industry
• Demonstrated ability to engage with C-Level executives and to engage on digital solutions
• Strategic vision combined with a robust execution capability to drive results
• Foster collaboration to lead team and networking
• Ability to proactively engage in innovation discussions with customers and value chain players to drive innovation
• Proven relevant experience as a thought leader in the industry
• Your familiarity with the processes, pain points, constraints and opportunities of the assigned market, and the ability of discovering solutions to customer challenges that may not yet exist
• Existing relationships with both C-Level and Operational leadership in the water and wastewater industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, complemented by stakeholder management skills
• Other languages are a plus
