What will you do?
The Key Account Services Account Manager is accountable for creating and capturing demand for the entire portfolio of field services offered by Schneider at assigned accounts: Technical services including the start-up, maintenance, testing, retrofit, upgrade and recurring contracts. Accountable for the selling of turnkey projects ranging from simple replacement of equipment to fully engineered solutions.
This position is responsible to create develop and maintaining high level relationships including technical leaders. His role is to convince customers of the effectiveness of SE in understanding the issues and proving most appropriate solutions. He/she must be recognized by the end user as a technical advisor, capable of providing demonstration documents within customer organization to prove the effectiveness of the offered solution.
Utilizes excellent products/solutions/services and customer knowledge to educate customers on life cycle management of their assets, application advantages, and how to replicate best practices from other accounts.
Creates FS Service proposals and close them facing the customer. He/she interacts with the Key Account Manager (KAM, if any) to develop a consistent Annual Account plan using all available information such as installed base tracking and business information.
- Initiates contact, develops relationship, and generates demand for customers in hunting zone, assigned to them by Service Sales Manager.
- Educates customers on all SE products and services with special attention on customer pain points and the ability to initiate and close big deals negotiations of key contracts.
- Cross selling of Field Service portfolio - Power, Secure Power & Cooling, Digital Energy and Industry
- Secures customer satisfaction overseeing all ongoing activities with the customer (orders, delivery etc.)
- Utilizes BFO (Salesforce.com) for Sales funnel management, Account planning, Performance and Opportunity detection via Sales Cockpit.
- Works with GSC and KAM to create Local Service Contracts and/or Frame agreements.
- Provides detailed and accurate weekly Order & Sales forecasts, using BFO, and summaries in a timely manner.
- Participates in the preparation of analysis and reports on field service performance.
- Provides precise and timely information to Tender team to prepare sales quotations and proposals.
- Monitors margin to be at or above country thresholds. Uses DOA process to escalate opportunities below thresholds.
- Provide Service Sales & Marketing Leaders with Offers feedback and needs, as well as Installed Base Database
- Knows where to be to create business opportunities, understand the importance of attending industry events and networking functions to follow assigned accounts needs
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 5 years of Technical Sales experience with a total 8 years of Electrical Engineering experience
- Experienced in Electrical Distribution systems, Distribution and Protection systems, Power Quality experience is a must for being a 'Trusted Advisor' and create demands
- Account Management, Cold Calling, Social Selling skills
- Strong ability to analyse market and competitors and p revious experience in Services and Recurring Maintenance Contract will be a key differentiator
- Persuading, convincing, influencing, or impressing others in order to promote our offers and get them to support influencing other decision makers.
- Active Listening - providing full attention to, the content and meaning of others' messages and a bility to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer. The concept of Customer Intimacy is critical in Field Services.
- Energetic, outgoing, proactive and have attention to prospecting and networking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including C-level customers
- Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric services offers throughout the Asset Management Life Cycle of the product. Good knowledge of Power, Secure Power & Cooling, Digital Energy and Industry systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and a bility to leverage technology for communications and managing own performance
- Digital savvy, a self-starter on social media e.g. LinkedIn
