Job Brief

Schneider Electric Japan is expanding our offers and their operation and maintenance services to cover from power system to building, data center and industry sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Specialist to ensure our cooling products for data centers and server rooms to meet our customers' expectations for all necessary requirements. This position is responsible for identifying and eliminating product quality risks that may affect customer satisfaction and quality for cooling products which installed/to be installed in both Japanese customer sites. S/he must work with SE colleagues to understand, mitigate, and eliminate these risks throughout the product lifecycle to ensure end-to-end product quality. S/he plays a critical role in the customer experience by supporting rapid and effective responses to field quality issues as they arise to ensure minimal disruption to our valued customer base. Schneider technical support team has escalation and support levels from Level 1 to Level 4. Level 2 positions oversee quality issues for country, required a higher level of technical expertise, as they will be working with the offer development department to resolve issues that are expected to require technical improvements and modifications.

Key responsibilities / functions:

Regional common Level 2.5 position covering Japan for cooling products including site intervention in Japan to support issues not to be solved by Service Representative Level 1 and Level 2 with L4 support. Create complementary TEX report addressing detailed technical explanation to fulfill customer requests. Support escalation of the issues happened at Japanese customers sites from Level 2 to global service representative Level 4 and drive root cause analysis, corrective action, preventive action. Secure tracking to get sufficient support from L4 Help local L1 and L2 FSRs to solve the customer issues at site or remotely. Connect and collaborate with VIP customer satisfaction manager of cooling for eastern to escalate and solve the issues efficiently for VIP customers. Plan product inspection to prevent quality problems and prepare work instruction for inspection and secure carrying out product inspections prior to product shipment, if necessary. Support commissioning tests, if necessary. Take necessary customer training, technical training. Attend customer meeting addressing non quality issues

シュナイダーエレクトリックは電力システムからビルデータセンターFA分野において製品展開および運用• 保守サービスを提供しており今回冷却製品関連製品の品質管理スペシャリストを募集しています本ポジションは日本の顧客に納品する空調製品の品質管理及び納品後の品質改善に責任を持ち顧客満足を目指します プロジェクトや製品の社内関係者との連携により製品ライフサイクル全体を通して製品の品質に関するリスクを理解軽減排除に関する課題を主導します出荷前の製品について出荷前検査の計画• 検査委託先への検査実行をサポートすることで品質問題を未然に防止します出荷後の品質問題についてはサービス部門との効果的な連携により原因追及と暫定対策• 是正処置• 予防措置を取り品質改善に努めます一連の対応においてお客様への説明• 報告も含むこともあり顧客満足に貢献します トラブルシューティングの過程において国内サービス部門とグローバルの製品開発部門や海外工場の品質部門と協力しながら解決に向けてご対応いただくポジションとなるためより高度な技術的な専門性を身に着けるとともに英語でのコミュニケーションの機会も得られます日本語での効果的なコミュニケーションが求められます Role and Responsibility 日本の冷却製品に関するテクニカルエンジニア納入後の品質問題防止を目的に製品出荷前の製品検査を計画し検査指示書を作成検査実施の遂行初期対応担当者で解決できない品質問題にエスカレーションを受けグローバルの品質部門のサポートを得ながら日本国内の顧客からの苦情• 品質問題解決に向けて迅速かつ効果的に事象の解析を行い原因分析是正予防措置を国内社内関係者と連携して実施顧客の要望に応えるために事業部門からの品質問題に関する原因対策についてのレポートと詳細な技術的説明を記載し補足したレポートを作成プロジェクト終了後プロジェクト中に発生した問題についてLesson Learnセッションを工場と事業部門の品質部門と行い再発防止に向けた根本原因の分析修正予防策の策定• 講じる日本のサービス部門と連携し現地または遠隔で顧客の問題を解決できるよう担当者として支援に加え空調製品関連コミッショニングのサポートを実施必要に応じて顧客とのミーティングに出席品質問題解決に向けたコミュニケーションを実施必要に応じて海外工場を訪問し工場における品質改善活動出荷前検査 及び サプライヤー管理の支援

Qualifications

Must:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or electrical and electronic engineering.
- At least 5 years' experience in service and maintenance. Experience with cooling products, especially chillers and cooling room air handling units preferred.
- Strong commitment to being customer-focused, understanding customer applications and urgencies, thinking of own responses and solving problems in a self-motivated, active and co-operative manner with other departments
- English (intermediate to business level)
- Japanese (business to native level)

Want
- Expertise in compressors and large chillers
- Electrical and/or network (Modbus, BACnet) related knowledge is more desirable.
- Experience in the manufacture or design of chillers is also a plus.
