Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Services Engineer with a background in Electrical and Electronic Engineering to oversee and manage on-site engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Secure Power design, troubleshooting, and hands-on experience in managing technical projects. The Site Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that site operations run smoothly and meet high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Supervision:

• Oversee on-site installation, maintenance, and testing & commissioning of secure power systems.
• Coordinate project activities to ensure compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards.

• Monitor progress of work on-site and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Ensure H&S compliance from SR team while working on site.

• Assist with the preparation of technical reports and documentation.

Technical Expertise:

• Design, build, and test electrical circuits and systems.
• Utilize programming knowledge to troubleshoot and improve system performance.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to implement innovative solutions.

Team Leadership and Coordination:

• Lead and manage teams during project execution, ensuring effective collaboration and task delegation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineers and technical staff.
• Organize and lead regular project meetings to ensure smooth communication and coordination between different teams.

Problem-Solving and Innovation:

• Analyze and troubleshoot site issues and propose practical solutions.
• Apply analytical and critical thinking skills to solve technical challenges.
• Maintain a proactive approach to risk management and ensure project safety standards.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements and objectives are met.
• Prepare and present progress reports to project stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on UPS system operation and maintenance.

Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, configure, and commission UPS systems at various sites.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure UPS systems are functioning correctly.
• Replace and upgrade UPS components as needed.

Troubleshooting and Repair:

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to UPS systems.
• Conduct tests and inspections to identify faults and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with technical support teams to address complex problems.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Monitor UPS system performance and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on system status and maintenance activities.

Client and Stakeholder Communication:

• Liaise with clients to understand their UPS system requirements and provide technical support.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on UPS system operation and maintenance.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Knowledge of APC UPS, electrical circuits, power distribution, and battery management.
• Hands-on experience with circuit design and testing.
• Experienced in building and managing databases for real-time transaction processing.
Leadership and Management Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
• Experience as a PAL Coordinator, managing sessions and mentoring peers.
Communication and Collaboration:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in site supervision, quality control, and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols and regulations.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and multitask effectively.

Additional Information:

• Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
• Willingness to travel to different sites within UAE and Gulf and work flexible hours.
