We're looking for a talented individual to assume the role of Service Sales Manager for the Eastern United States :
This person must be able to lead a team of outside sales personnel to succeed in End-User market for growing Schneider Electric Services, Software & Solutions. Person must be able to cultivate relationships and leverage other Schneider Electric sales teams to achieve targets. The candidate must be technical in power systems and services while also demonstrate a strong business acumen. This role is responsible for the sales team quality through effective hiring, performance management, training, coaching, and showing leadership. The candidate will execute sales strategy and be held accountable for not only sales; but also forecasting, managing a budget, and driving a team to achieve Key Performance Metrics required for overall success.

What do you get to do in this position?
1. Defines markets, market potentials and appropriate sales strategies for the region/district. Partners with regionally based Sales/Service Operations Team, channel distributors, and strategic account owners to plan strategies, provide quality service, train customer, and provide support necessary for attainment of customer's goals and objectives. Anticipates obstacles and identifies alternative strategies. Sets and executes growth targets for the region.
2. Delivering business plan for region focusing on profitable growth while being responsible for sales function costs.
3. Formulates, communicates, implements, and evaluates strategic and tactical sales plans. Monitors sales performance. Provides coaching to ensure successful execution of plans.
4. Maintains active relationships with Schneider Electric customers. Negotiates discrepancies between customer's expectations and Schneider Electric's.
5. Ensure the area utilizes bFO to show activity for the assigned geography. Accurately display pipeline, opportunities and forecast by area. Responsible to deliver and own the area forecast commitments.
6. Provides coaching and development activities for sales staff necessary to achieve sales targets; pursue key prospects, negotiate and construct appropriate terms of sales.
7. Coordinates sales activities in region/district with other regions/districts and national account management to penetrate national accounts.
8. Develops, implements and monitors budget and asset control systems.
9. Utilizes lean thinking principles to continuously examine processes. Identifies necessary improvements and coordinates implementation.
10. Administers and/or establishes company policies that directly affect employees
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelor's degree preferred with 10+ years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing
- Previous Strategic Account Management and/or direct management of employees experience preferred
- Knowledge of electrical industry commercial practices and operating processes a plus
- Specific knowledge of Services & Power Distribution Solutions
- Capable of financial and market analysis and reporting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- 50% domestic travel
