Schneider Electric is looking for a Service Project Manager for the Las Vegas area
Responsibilities Include:
- Day-to-Day Management:
Oversee daily onsite activities, including service projects, service quotes, and time-and-material work orders, as well as on-demand service resource allocation. - Project Participation:
Participate in walkdowns as required for projects in collaboration with Schneider Electric sales and designated Site Security staff. - Ongoing Project Involvement:
Stay actively engaged in ongoing service projects to ensure successful implementation, which includes:- Attending weekly project review meetings.
- Facilitating requests for network IP coordination and resource allocation.
- Regularly communicating with key stakeholders to provide status updates and ensure prompt closure of associated work orders/projects.

Manage all associated tasks related to service projects. Responsibilities include:
- Documenting projects (RFIs, meeting minutes, punch lists, transmittal logs, submittal logs, change order logs, and issues logs).
- Preparing project revenue forecasts, schedules of values, and billings.
- Maximizing gross margin improvement on all projects by leveraging labor efficiencies, outsourcing, and purchasing strategies to reduce costs.
- Preparing and updating project schedules and budgets.
- Coordinating all change order reviews and pricing activities, including estimating and proposal creation.
Work with the Service Delivery Manager (SDM) to schedule tasks and manage hours associated with tasks outlined in Service Agreements (SAs).
Collaborate with the Schneider Electric Warehouse for deliveries and material handling.
Provide technical support and participate in basic field startup processes, including commissioning of simple control systems to ensure proper operation on small service projects.
Perform quality control inspections on all service projects.
Ensure the team aligns with customer safety protocols and site requirements.
Qualifications:
• This position is typically held by an individual that has at least 5+ years' combined experience as
a BMS or Security Service Technician, Project Engineer or PM with equivalent industry
experience
• Project managers must have construction industry knowledge, strong communication skills,
strong understanding of contracting procedures and experience with responsibilities such as
project correspondence, documentation, timely notice of changes and claims, negotiation and
subcontract and vendor management. Are organized, proactive, and can effectively communicate
with customers as well as internal resources
• This individual should have significant industry knowledge and an advanced understanding of
BMS Systems (Hardware, Software and Networking).
• This position will require the individual to be technical and may include commissioning and start up of simple projects
• The Project Manager works under minimal supervision and reports to the Service Operations
