What will you do?
The Service Order & Planning Manager is responsible to ensure the Service Orders & Contracts are well created and booked according to the Customer's Purchase Orders ensuring all relevant detailed information are correctly recorded in the IT system. Also responsible for scheduling the execution of Service Operations at the customer site ensuring spare-parts, tools, instructions, workforce, travel optimization, qualified Services Representatives, to allow the service execution team to properly implement the service delivery and the Customer expectations.
As a manager, he/she has to ensure competencies availability and renewal inside his/her team, work capacity, as well as people development.
Activities and areas of responsibility
- Lead Order Management team to ensure on-time order booking into ERP, PO issuance to vendors and spares expedition with Global Supply Chain team.
- Lead Planning team to ensure prompt Work Order scheduling, investigation on Deviation and delivery of spares.
- Collaborate with Service Operation teams to fulfill requirement from customer POs and recognize revenue.
- Work with Project team to ensure synchronized costing and revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with finance to monitor and drive actions to control deferred revenue.
- Liaise with sales team to manage Case Order closure and changes to Service Order requirement.
- Support marketing team on deployment of new offers, sourcing of products and corresponding flow system setups.
- Backup for Order Management and Planning teams
- Develop and maintain required Order Management and Planning competencies to ensure continuity.
- Drive improvement / transformation initiatives related to OM and Planning processes to ensure sustainability and support for business growth.
- Put in place relevant Management System to ensure perfect collaboration, and team collective dynamic.
- Track and implement ambitious People engagement action plan to ensure highest employee satisfaction.
- Ensure competency availability in long term within the team and anticipate competency evolution leveraging tools and processes dedicated to it
- Manage Headcount through dynamic sourcing and attrition plan to ensure appropriate work capability witin the team.
- Participate in the Short Interval Management leading actions under OM and Planners perimeter.
Key Success Factors
- Good interpersonal communication and relationship with others
- Understanding of impact of Services Representative utilization rate and work order management on Profit & Loss
- Proactive communication with Customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Requisite Technical knowledge on Schneider products.
- Capability and ability to escalate issues through the SIM cycles.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Diploma / University degree in any discipline.
- Managerial experience preferable 5 years or more in Customer Support industry.
- Good understanding on value creation within order booking, contract creation, invoicing, resource scheduling and process governance in overall impact to revenue / profitability of the company.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in SAP / Oracle and bFO / bFS would be a plus.
