We are seeking a talented individual to join the team as a Technical Product Owner for applications used in People Analytics to improve the quality and implement industry wise best practices. In this role you would work alongside a cross-functional team of technologists, business leaders, developers, product managers and other partners to realize usable and interesting analytical solutions to drive our user for data driven decisions.

Main responsibilities
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand user needs, business requirements and translating them into technical specifications and user stories to drive platform enhancements.
  • Work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and other technical teams to define and prioritize features, ensuring that the product aligns with the company's data strategy and technological capabilities.
  • Role involves leading the product development process, participating in agile ceremonies, and providing guidance to development teams on technical implementation and best practices.
  • Overseeing data infrastructure requirements, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics and data products into existing systems.
  • Play a crucial role in defining product architecture, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of data-driven solutions, and staying updated on industry trends and technological advancements to drive product innovation.
  • Being the bridge between business and technology, provide guidance to development teams, and oversee the product lifecycle from concept to delivery, while communicating delivery plan & timelines to stakeholders.
  • Vendor management with Oracle and ThoughtSpot to enforce the maintenance of accounts on vendor side, review open issues.
  • Stepping up & providing resolutions in case of delivery challenges around prioritization, regressions, etc
  • Ensuring alignment with SE Digital certification policies, privacy, and security reviews before product launches.
  • Campaign and its execution plan with development teams to align with PI planning.
  • Policing CAB calls for adherence to processes is in place.
  • Ensuring deliverables in roadmap planning and platform operation plan are met in time for slated delivery period.
  • Safeguarding successful completion of short projects like migration, upgrades etc.


What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 3-5 years of work experience as a Technical Product Owner
  • Technical Acumen: A strong understanding of data analytics, data engineering, and relevant technologies such as data visualization tools, databases, cloud platforms, and machine learning concepts.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency in agile practices and frameworks, including Scrum or Kanban, to effectively lead product development, prioritize features, and ensure iterative delivery.
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, understand business needs, get buy-ins and effectively communicate technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Product Management: Experience in defining product roadmaps, creating user stories, and prioritizing features to align with business goals and technical capabilities.
  • Data Governance and Quality: Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges, make data-driven decisions, and optimize product performance.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical concepts, facilitate discussions, inspire confidence and articulate the product vision to diverse audiences.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving technologies, industry trends, and changing business requirements to drive continuous product improvement and innovation.
