EcoAct Central Europe became part of the Sustainability Business in late 2023 and represents a valuable addition to our consulting practice with a clear focus on climate strategy and emissions reduction solutions. The Senior Sustainability Consultant will join a team of experienced professionals in advisory services supporting many of the largest organizations in the world to achieve aggressive sustainability goals. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented consulting professional to further enlarge our team to deliver services at highest standards.

The Senior Sustainability Consultant will develop and deliver high-impact services and solutions that create client value, environmental impact reductions, and develop / track performance against client goals and strategies. Schneider Electric is seeking candidates with experience in the below responsibility areas.

This position is based in the DACH region and multi-country in terms of client scope

Your To Do's:

  • Lead and partner with clients in implementing sustainability strategies and solutions. This includes close collaboration and teamwork within project teams and business development colleagues, as well as direct client interaction through presentation of strategies, deliverables, and analysis to support and compel client action.
  • Manage complex client projects by managing resources, timely delivery and team culture while maintaining high client satisfaction.
  • Conduct process and deliverable review with other advisory team members in a peer review and mentoring capacity.
  • Support business development and sales colleagues with expertise in proposal development and in client-facing sales meetings.
  • Organize, inform, collaborate and partner with multi-disciplinary teams within Schneider Electric to help coordinate service and solutions delivery.
  • Support the ongoing activities of the global EcoAct advisory, sales and marketing teams as needed or required.
  • Contribute to team performance and support client renewals.
  • Support and lead innovative services from initial idea creation through potential implementation.
  • Represent the EcoAct Central Europe team at events, conferences or panels.
  • On occasions, domestic and international travel is required.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related technical field with professional experiences preferably in sustainability management or corporate consulting.
  • Track-record in managing complex client projects and larger project teams.
  • Thorough experience in at least one of the following areas: Development of corporate carbon footprints, science-based targets, climate strategies or Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
  • Proven track record in developing, managing, and executing client solutions as well as progressive history of building successful relationships both with internal network of colleagues and external clients.
  • Experience and comfort in client-facing settings.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to work on multiple complex projects in diverse areas, versatile and capable within multiple disciplines
  • Fluent in English and German
