Summit Energy Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Sustainability Consultant in Louisville, KY.
Job Description: Develop sustainable energy and resource management strategies. Coordinate multi-disciplinary, or multi-workstream projects spanning various aspects of a client's sustainability program in a collaborative and effective manner. Develop energy and greenhouse gas (GHG)/carbon emissions inventories, water footprints, waste footprints and other environmental inventories. Develop abatement models for achieving corporate goals for energy reduction or GHG reduction. Engage supply chain and other parts of the value chain for transparency, carbon reduction, and sustainability performance. Prepare or enhance client communications for sustainability performance aligned to key industry reporting platforms. Research, filter, warehouse and communicate emerging information and trends relating to global sustainability initiatives. Organize, inform and partner with multi-disciplinary teams to help coordinate service and solutions delivery. Build and support relationships with regulatory entities, vendors and service companies. Contribute to the development of training resources for both internal and external clients. Position eligible for 100% remote work, reporting to company worksite in Louisville, KY.

Requirements: Position requires a Master's or Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Sustainability, Environmental Sciences, Engineering (Any), or related technical field and progressive post-bachelor's experience (3 years with Master's or 5 years with Bachelor's) in corporate sustainability consulting or related occupation, which must include at least some experience with the following skills: Project management; Supply chain greenhouse gas emissions analysis, including climate strategy (Scopes 1, 2, and 3 reduction pathways), product lifecycle emissions, and abatement methods; Supporting and submitting ESG sustainability frameworks (CDP, Global Reporting initiative, Dow Jones Sustainability Index, GRESB, or SASB); Leading implementation of sustainability assessment programs and audits (Eco Vadis); Delivering annual sustainability reports with adherence to frameworks; and Developing and implementing ESG data governance and collection processes.
