About the role

• The role will be responsible for supporting Schneider Electric Industrial Automation business to deliver strategic deep-dives and develop strategic investment plan, while coordinating with key stakeholders including investors, partners, and internal business units to ensure alignment and support for such initiatives.

Responsibility

• Drive or support strategic projects and deep-dives according to business needs to Industrial Automation and Segment global and regional strategies.

• Develop market and competitive intelligence , including maintain awareness of market competition and keep senior management abreast through effective communication while assess market segmentation and sizing and competitive landscape.

• Lead development of investment plan for Industrial Automation business in China based on global strategy and regional opportunities through coordination with internal stakeholders and actively identify directions and targets of interest.

• Develop and strengthen relationships with internal (R&D, product owner, go-to-market teams, etc.) and external stakeholders (consulting firms, VC, investment bank, financial advisor, etc.).

• Lead the preparation of investment memos with defined business case and support effective investment decision with actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

This Job Might Be

• A relevant degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related engineering field.

• 8+ years of proven track record in equity / strategic investment or management consulting is a must, preferably in an industrial context with multi-stakeholders management experience.

• Skills in financial analysis, including valuations, financial modeling, and performance assessments to support investment decisions.

• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) may be preferred.

• System thinker with entrepreneurial mind-set and ability to work collaboratively across multiple disciplines in global context is a plus.

• Open and approachable persona.
