Our Global Supply Chain (GSC) team are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer for a permanent position to be based in Gepps Cross, SA.

This site is the Gepps Cross manufacturing facility and laboratory and is the home of our Home and Distribution team, creating best in class products for our customers across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Operations Quality Manager, the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will provide the functional leadership at the Gepps Cross site for process robustness.

In this exciting new career opportunity, you will focus on:
  • Design, development, and execution of the Process Audit
  • Meticulously inspecting products and processes to identify defects and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Understanding and derive PCP from PQCS and PQCP
  • Identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing effective corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Drive key quality metrics such as MDR, FFR, EDR, DPMI, NQC, and CNPS
  • Analyse quality data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and enhance manufacturing processes
  • Coach and mentor others on SPC and Process Capability Studies


This is an on-site position, requiring attendance at our Gepps Cross Site 5 days a week. Requests for flexible arrangements can be accommodated from time to time.

Our ideal candidate will possess:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or a relevant related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Thorough knowledge of PFMEA and able to facilitate cross functional team to create PFMEA
  • Knowledge of Poke Yoke and Judoka and able to suggest ideas to implement Poke Yoke and Jidoka on Critical Process Parameters
  • Thorough understanding of MSA to conduct Gage R and R study on key gages and operators.
  • Advanced understanding of Quality basics to drive the deployment.
  • Good level of understanding and knowledge of digital tools to reduce high risk RPN's.
  • Expertise on RCA tools - 5Why, 8D, Fish bone, Six Sigma to drive effective analysis.
  • A growth mindset through well-developed digital skills and a technical aptitude
