Now, we have a job opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist in our HR Services department, Payroll team.

  • Description :
  • Participate in timely collection, entering and maintaining inputs for the employee's salary calculation;
  • Perform end-to-end calculation and payments for employees and all types of Contracts with third parties;
  • Execute payroll reporting - internal & external reports to Audits, Government, Tax authorities;
  • Participating in payroll audits and ensuring data accuracy and integrity;
  • Prepare documentation related to the calculation of tax reliefs, sick leaves and submit to Authorities;
  • Report tax on E-porezi portal for business travel expenses;
  • Solve employee inquiries related to payroll calculations;
  • Prepare orders for posting the costs of salaries and benefits, control in SAP and prepare reports on the reconciliation of G/L accounts;
  • Prepare calculations and posting for accruals and provisions required by local Law and standards of SE Group;
  • Collaboration with Consultants of local payroll application, inputs and testing of payroll application upgrades and updates, creating PO.
  • Responsibilitie s :
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all payroll data;
  • Perform work in accordance with the relevant laws and Schneider Electric policies regulating this area, follow and implement new legal regulations from the scope of the work.


  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Economics and related fields with at least 5 years of experience in payroll processing;
  • English B2 Upper Intermediate;
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office;
  • Knowledge of working in SAP with strong understanding of accounting principles related to payroll;
  • In-depth knowledge of Income Tax and other relevant Laws;
  • Great written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity;
  • Proactive mindset in digitization and simplification of payroll processes.
