- Provide technical support to development groups to identify potential issues in the operation of Schneider Electric products, reducing risks before verification and validation testing.

- Create, interpret, and effectively communicate simulation data to stakeholders involved in the project.

- Develop, test, and deploy new methodologies as required by simulation projects, ensuring continuous improvement and optimization.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulations into product development processes.

- Analyze and model complex fluid flow problems, including heat transfer, internal arc, and fluid dynamics.

- Validate simulation models against experimental data and real-world conditions.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in simulation techniques, tools, and industry standards.

- Contribute to the improvement of simulation workflows and methodologies.

- Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to ensure products meet performance and safety requirements.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve technical challenges and optimize solutions.

- Document simulation methodologies, assumptions, and results for future reference and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

This job might be for you if:

- +5 years of experience working with EMAG, CFD, FEA simulation tools

- Advanced degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field with a focus on electromagnetism and computational electromagnetics, with expertise in electronics and fluids. Master's or PhD degree is a plus.
- High experience using ANSYS AEDT, Altair Flux, Space Claim
- Experience using ANSYS Mechanical & Icepak,
- Desire experience in developing and implementing Multiphysics simulation models for highly demanding electronics and power electronics applications, with a deep understanding of EMC/RF considerations.
- Strong proficiency in utilizing AI and machine learning techniques to advance electromagnetism simulation capabilities, particularly in the context of design implementation and optimization

- Familiarity with mesh generation and post-processing techniques for CFD simulations.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret and analyze CFD results.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present findings to stakeholders.

- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish. Additional language skills, particularly French, are desirable.

- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in CFD modeling and simulation.

- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for automation and data analysis is advantageous.

- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously update skills in the field of CFD.
