Sr. Quality Engineer

Mission

• Manage the Lean manufacturing and Six sigma system plant wide, Provide tracking data, updates and status updates for all Continuous Improvement projects (Lean, Six Sigma, Reliability Improvement and Cost Savings). Drives the tactics into action plans to reach company saving plan .

A typical day for you might include:

• Responsible for managing and driving the implementation of the continuous improvement process at the site, by identification, evaluation and elimination of production losses and waste. This is achieved by building a Master Plan, identifying key projects with functional leaders, developing, and managing skill base within manufacturing team, and delivering appropriate coaching.
• Develop focal project program for training and projects schedule by area.
• Work with corporate continues improvement team on system developments and standardize of methods across sites.
• Implement Jidoka system zero defects lines and Poke joke initiatives.
• Conduct training on and implement lean systems and improvements.
• Develop Green Belt internal certification plan.
• Develop communication method LSS portal for best practice sharing and projects.

Qualifications

This may be the next step in your career journey if you have:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Quality improvement tools, techniques & models.
• Strong knowledge in statistical quality techniques and analysis.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Equivalent
• Black Belt Certification or Green Belt .
• > 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and/or deploying and coaching Six Sigma Projects.
• Identify Opportunities in manufacturing processes, address six sigma projects to reduce variation.
• Identify non-quality factors continuously, conduct or have other departments conduct in-depth analyses and monitor quality improvement plans though Quality and lean six sigma tools.
• Plan and take any necessary actions to provide adequate confidence/evidence that a product or service will satisfy given contractual/explicit customer requirements.
